College sweethearts Michelle and Navid first met at UC Santa Barbara when Michelle’s roommate invited Navid over to their house. Michelle played coy at first, but Navid’s persistence paid off and soon he won Michelle over. Now, almost four years since their fateful meeting, Michelle and Navid are celebrating their upcoming wedding.

Navid planned a trip to the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles to pop “the question”. The evening started out with a long hike up to the observatory. Of course Michelle complained the entire walk up and Navid tried to motivate her saying, “think of the diamond ring you’ll get at the top!” To which Michelle responded “oh shut up Navid!”
Navid nervously searched for the perfect place to ask Michelle to be his wife. He took her onto the roof of the observatory and it was there, with the city lights of Los Angeles glimmering in the background, that he asked Michelle to marry him.

Since the Griffith Observatory is such a special place for these two, it was only natural that we did their engagement shoot at the Observatory.
