UCSB engagement session

Lindsey and Spencer met as Freshmen at UC Santa Barbara in 2006. As fellow biology students, they came to know each other well through the classes they took together despite Spencer sitting in the front row and Lindsey preferring the wide open back of the auditorium. During their study sessions their roles reversed: Lindsey would shoot icy stares at her future fiancé as he attempted to make crass jokes about chemiosmotic phosphorylation, his cackle distracting her from academic harmony. Four years of studying, partying and laughing later Lindsey caved into her best friend's charming ways. Her grades may have suffered some, but it was all worth it when she and Spencer finally decided to take their friendship to the next level after graduating in the summer of 2010.Read more

Middle Ranch wedding photos

Adi and Stav met on Jdate, or how they like to call it, their mutual friend “ja-day.” They met at the Culver Hotel in Culver City and had an amazing first date. Stav asked Adi out for the next few nights knowing that Adi would be leaving to India for two weeks with her family. They corresponded via email the entire time she was gone, and it was crazy how much they had already missed each other.  Stav picked Adi up from the airport, and a week later he asked her to be his girlfriend :)Read more

Laura and Brian engagement session

Laura and Brian met the old-fashioned way... E-Harmony.  After Laura's last relationship ended, her girlfriends encouraged her to give online dating a shot.  Even though she was skeptical, she made them a deal that she would go on one date through E-Harmony, before counting out online dating all together.  Brian, on the other hand, was recently back on the dating scene and was looking to find Mrs. Right.  One night he stumbled upon Laura's profile, thought she was pretty and immediately sent her a message.  The two emailed back and forth for a while and found out they had a lot in common (even their favorite Gelateria in Rome).  They decided to meet in person.  Laura figured that this would be the one date she promised her friends, while Brian hoped for so much more.  Read more

Le Foyer Ballroom LA wedding

In 2011, Mark asked Marlene spend the day in Santa Barbara with him. After a beautiful water-front brunch, they spent all day together at the beach and took a romantic (10 mile!) hike along the shore. Being interested in photography, Mark brought along his camera and tripod, and the two of them made frequent stops to take photos together on the beach. On the way back from the hike, Mark suggested they stop and watch the sunset - so they put their stuff down and sat on the sand as the sun went down. Read more
